The Speaker:
Meet Dirk Withake - a seasoned project and program management leader with 25+ years of international experience across Europe & the U.S, currently workings in air traffic and aeronautical information management. After 14 years in global IT consulting advising companies like BP, Sony, Disney, Paramount Pictures, Red Bull, WEX and others, Dirk has successfully led and recovered complex projects/programs/portfolios across industries as manufacturing, finance, and entertainment.
Dirk holds a diploma in economics and business administration from Ruhr University Bochum (Germany) and multiple certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI). A dedicated PMI volunteer since 2018, he serves as President of the PMI Austria Chapter (reelected for a 2nd term) and contributed to PMI global standards including the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition, the PMBOK® Guide – Eighth Edition and The Standard for Program Management – Fifth Edition.
An experienced educator and speaker, Dirk teaches at BFI University in Vienna and frequently shares insights at national and international forums, including multiple PMI Global Summits.
