Andreas is a PMP certified senior consultant for project management hailing from Vienna, Austria. He brings 20 years of experience in project management, including international and multicultural contexts. As he considers the human aspect of collaboration and team success a critical success factor for projects, he is an experienced human centric leader. In addition Andreas has been volunteering for PMI Chapters and PMI for more than a decade in different roles, currently serving as Region Mentor Europe Northwest.

In his session "Smart Risks in Projects", Andreas will explore how to identify and manage different types of project failures. Drawing from international business psychology literature and the latest edition of the PMBOK® Guide, he’ll help the audience distinguish between failures to avoid and those that can be strategically embraced to improve project outcomes. This session will blend theory, real-life examples, and the psychological side of project management.
