Wired and wireless networks development for Hungarian public education institutes (Dezső DUDÁS MSc, PMP®)

The technological changes that took place during the 20th century have now made digitalization the most important role in production, economy and society in general. Therefore, the development of infocommunication technology in the education system is essential nowadays. The aim is primarily to reform the traditional education system, which will bring a new approach to education, methodology and requirements. Education needs to prepare students for the challenges of the digital age to be competitive in the job market. One of the main focuses of the so-called „Diákháló” is to build a WiFi network in the public education institutions of Hungary, to support the realization of educational-strategic goals. WiFi coverage is primarily provided in classrooms, specialist classrooms and libraries. Within the framework of the project, we assess the available infrastructural background in the affected institutions and develop a unified equipment and operational system.
