Rückblick "March Stammtisch"
The topic of discussion of the PMI Austria Chapter March 2019 Stammtisch was “Work Life Balance”.
Work Life Balance is intended to mean balancing work commitments with personal, social and family needs. In a Project environment the workload is usually variable with peaks and troughs. As the project approaches a milestone or a delivery it is usual that the workload and pressure on the team increases thus impacting the time available for non-work activities. The Project Manager needs to be empathetic and cognisant of this fact and be sensitive to the impact it has on the team members. It also means that team members should themselves be aware of their workload and manage and balance that with their other commitments.
Nine attended the Stammtisch that was held at Gasthaus Zipereck, Koppreitergasse 6, 1120 Vienna, a friendly family run Viennese restaurant with exotic local cuisine and good value for money.
Next Stammtisch will be held on Thursday 25 th April starting at 19:30 at a location to be confirmed. The topic of discussion is “Project Charter”.
