While difficult stakeholders can be found on all sides of the project, we concentrated our discussion on the customer side. Our working case was a project with little to no buy-in from the customer's employees, who were supposed to be working with the project's outcome later on. To ensure, such a situation cannot evolve, requirements and expectations should be properly collected from the start. Additionally, trainings and workshops of the workforce can be part of the contract with the customer, making sure it is done in a satisfactory manner. Technically, the project closes with providing the product, whether it will be used or not, but it doesn't quite fit our understanding of a successful project.
