Eight attended the Stammtisch that was held at La Creperie, An der Oberen Alten Donaun6, Vienna 1210. The topic of discussion was “ Collaboration”. Collaboration is when people from different departments / units work together to achieve a specific goal or objective. The outcome from this work is shared by the participating collaborators. Collaborating team members ensure their availability and commitment to perform the required work and execute the assigned tasks. Collaboration is an accepted method of working in a project oriented organisations as it is imbedded within its culture. Whereas cooperation is when people from different departments / units support the project team to achieve the team’s objective or goal. Cooperation usually implies the participants undertake tasks in addition to their own jobs / routine thus the participants may not be as committed / available to carry out the required tasks. The ownership of the outcome from this work rests with the project team. The next Stammtisch will be held on Wednesday 24th August 2022 at 19:00 at a venue to be decided. The topic of discussion is “Emotional Intelligence”.
